We are currently hiring a Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our team and provide outstanding helpdesk support to our clients.<br></p><p>Position Summary: The Helpdesk Support Specialist will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to clients via deskside, phone, email, or chat. This person will help troubleshoot technical issues, provide guidance on problem resolution, and escalate issues when necessary. The ideal candidate is a friendly and patient problem-solver with excellent communication skills, strong technical knowledge, and a passion for helping others.</p><p>NOTE:&nbsp; This is a hybrid/local position.&nbsp; 100% Remote Candidates Will Not Be Accepted</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide technical support to clients by answering phone calls, emails, or chats in a timely and friendly manner</li><li>Provides telephone and to users in the areas of directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and application</li><li>Identify and troubleshoot technical issues</li><li>Provide guidance on problem resolution</li><li>Escalate issues to senior team members when necessary</li><li>Log all support requests in our ticketing system</li><li>Maintain knowledge base of common issues and resolutions</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and ensuring their needs are met</li><li>Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure client satisfaction</li><li>Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree or higher in a technical field 7+ years of experience in helpdesk support or a related role</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of computer software and hardware</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Friendly and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Familiarity with ticketing systems and knowledge bases is a plus</li></ul><p>Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years comprehensive knowledge of PC operating systems, e.g., DOS, Windows, as well as work on a help desk. We are currently hiring a Systems Administrator to join our team and provide outstanding helpdesk support to our clients.</p><p>NOTE:&nbsp; This is a hybrid/local position.&nbsp;</p><p>Position Summary: The Systems Administrator serves as the primary technical resource in a small team environment for day-to-day operations and is responsible for the administration, security, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Bithgroup’s IT environment, including Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud, and on-premises infrastructure, networks, endpoints, and core business systems, while ensuring availability, performance, and supportability across the organization.<br></p><p>This is a hands-on, high-ownership role that reports to the VP of Information Technology. The ideal candidate collaborates closely with IT leadership on priorities, process improvements, automation, compliance, and long-term planning initiatives, aligning with evolving best practices.   </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>  </p><ul><li>Lead the day-to-day administration of Bithgroup’s IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud, and on-premises systems, networks, endpoints, and related platforms, with additional support provided to Managed Service clients as needed.  </li><li>Own security, network, and backup/recovery operations to ensure data availability and integrity.  </li><li>Install, configure, secure, update, document, and monitor servers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, endpoints, cloud services, and supporting infrastructure.   </li><li>Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, connectivity, and security issues.  </li><li>Document and maintain IT inventory, configurations, and SOPs.  </li><li>Contribute to SOC 2 compliance initiatives supporting audits, gathering evidence, and maintaining security controls.  </li><li>Collaborate with leadership to review internal processes and recommend improvements, new solutions, and workflow efficiencies.  </li><li>Support and effectively manage timely Helpdesk and technical support for end-users.  </li><li>Co-author Incident Reports and oversee escalations.   </li><li>Provide training and guidance to end-users and junior staff as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Core Competencies:</strong>  </p><ul><li>A curiosity-driven, adaptable problem solver who seeks ownership and an environment where they can learn, evolve, and have fun doing it.  </li><li>Strong security mindset and attention to operational risk.  </li><li>Demonstrated interest in automation, AI, and continuous improvement to streamline operations and improve outcomes.  </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  </li><li>Commitment to excellent customer service.  </li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently.  </li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of relevant systems administration experience.  </li><li>Strong background in Azure and Microsoft 365 administration, including Intune, Entra ID, and Exchange.  </li><li>Fluent with PowerShell and multiple OS: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, etc.  </li><li>Familiarity with Hyper-V virtual environments and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).  </li><li>Comfortable with scripting automation and light coding.  </li><li>Ability to independently manage recurring operational work and own tasks through to completion.  </li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Fortinet Firewalls  </li><li>Action1 (Patch Management)  </li><li>Blumira (SIEM)  </li><li>Veeam (backup and replication)  </li><li>Mimecast (email security)  </li><li>WordPress (website administration)  </li><li>Xcitium – Comodo (RMM)  </li><li>Ubiquiti (Network Management)</li></ul><p>If you are a dedicated, customer-focused professional with a passion for technology, we encourage you to apply for our Systems Administrator role today!</p><p><br></p>]]></media:description></item></channel></rss>
